Please attend an important IN PERSON meeting regarding several homeless/transitional housing projects that are under way. With very little community input, four new projects are planned or under construction in our neighborhood. Combined, these facilities will bring over 100 vulnerable persons requiring supportive care to Hamilton Heights/Sugar Hill.
A special guest, Yuien Chin, Executive Director or Harlem OneStop and West Harlem Community Preservation Association, will speak about the oversaturation of homeless shelters and other transitional housing initiatives in the Hamilton Heights/Sugar Hill area. (See article below)
